FAITH AGUGU
Director

Faith has over 20 years experience in the Australian fashion industry.  Her career has combined store management with local and international buying, magazine and music video styling, and in-house wholesaling for the hugely successful Fleur Wood range.

The concept of Raw Fashion Agency was born in 2003 as a direct result of her success in the industry.

“It was a very organic process.  After starting with Fleur Wood, I began receiving requests from other designers to represent their label and it became my vision to create a unique fashion agency for the Australian market.  Within a relatively short time, I had 7 labels under the Raw banner.

“What sets Raw apart from other agencies, is that we have a very hands-on approach with our designers.  Of course everyone wants their product to sell and that is our first priority, but identifying each designer’s individual needs and challenges helps us to tailor our services to suit each one.

“My dream for the future is to develop Raw into a formidable brand, renowned throughout the industry for excellence in service.  And as the eyes and ears for the designers we represent, it’s key to keep them up-to-date with the latest developments in the market place so that they can keep their focus on what’s most important to them: creating fabulous products for the Australian and international markets.”

Faith’s invaluable fashion trade experience is now being shared to the new generation of industry movers and shakers in her role as teacher at the FBI Fashion College in Sydney where she tutors students in Fashion Agency Strategy.
